In March 2022, PitchBook sponsored the Funding and Investors Summit at SXSW, home to SXSW Pitch— an early-stage VC competition where innovative startups showcase products solving complex problems in emerging tech verticals. The three-day event involved a wide range of brand collateral opportunities, including signage in our investor lounge and demo booth, cross-channel social and email promotions, a hand sanitizer giveaway tag showcasing data from the PitchBook platform, and a co-branded female-founder dashboard.
In designing the creative assets for this event, we specifically drew inspiration from pathways— one of the graphic hallmarks of PitchBook’s brand— representing interconnection, forward movement, and unique perspectives. And there’s no place these ideas are better embodied than at events—where attendees literally cross paths, discuss innovations, and secure future wins. Some success highlights from the weekend include 23 new business opportunities, three closed deals, and eight in-person press meetings with PitchBook analysts.
